This Ford car is special. It's a 1932 coupe with a rumble seat (long before the days of politically correct safety, of course). This model was Ford's first wit a v-8 engine, and it was the hottest people's car of the era. The motor remained popular for more than two decades, powering not only Ford sedans, but hot rods and numerous racing cars. The '32 For Coupe has a special place in my heart as well: it was my late father's (Lew Russell) first car. Alika's Ford is very special too. He's a real cuddle lump, as we say. In spite of his youth, he behaves like his father Rossy and will lay forever in the crook of an arm... |
